The number of students in the Smarty Pants class is about 15!
Our Teacher/ Student Ratio is about 1:5
We believe that quality preschool programs understand the value of small classes and low staff/child ratios. Small classes allow teachers to focus more intensely on each child, interacting with each child more frequently and more extensively. Greater individual attention and smaller groups stimulate complex play and exploration and foster problem-solving skills and greater social interaction.
Montessori Ratios:
In the Primary Montessori classroom, a 3 year age mix (ages 3, 4, and 5), there is a high ratio of children to 1 trained Directress and an assistant.
There will often be 23-25 children to 2 adults!
